Proper care helps preserve the fabric, fit, colour and detailing of your Renims shirt. Always check the care label attached to the garment, as instructions may vary depending on the fabric and design.

Before Washing

Before washing your shirt:

• Check the garment care label

• Empty all pockets

• Close the buttons

• Turn the shirt inside out

• Separate dark and light colours

• Wash heavily detailed shirts separately

• Treat stains gently before washing

Avoid rubbing embroidery, rhinestones or decorative areas directly.

Washing Instructions

For most Renims shirts, we recommend a gentle hand wash or delicate machine wash.

Use:

• Cold or normal-temperature water

• Mild liquid detergent

• A gentle wash cycle

• A laundry bag for shirts with delicate detailing

Avoid:

• Hot water

• Harsh detergents

• Bleach

• Strong stain-removal chemicals

• Excessive soaking

• Vigorous scrubbing

• Washing with rough or heavy garments

Do not soak the shirt for a long period, as this may affect the colour, fabric finish or decorative details.

Care for Embroidered Shirts

Embroidery requires careful handling to maintain its shape and finish.

• Turn the shirt inside out before washing

• Use a gentle hand wash or delicate cycle

• Do not scrub or brush the embroidery

• Avoid twisting or wringing the shirt

• Do not pull loose threads

• Keep the embroidered area away from sharp surfaces

• Iron from the reverse side using low heat

Minor thread movement may occur naturally with repeated wear and washing. Handle the embroidered area gently to preserve its appearance.

Care for Rhinestone and Decorative Shirts

Shirts with rhinestones, crystals, velvet elements or other decorative applications should be treated as delicate garments.

• Prefer gentle hand washing or professional dry cleaning

• Do not rub, scratch or pull the decorative work

• Do not use a washing brush

• Avoid machine drying

• Do not iron directly over rhinestones

• Keep the garment away from excessive heat

• Store it separately from garments with zips, hooks or rough surfaces

Repeated friction, strong chemicals or direct heat may loosen or damage decorative details.

Drying Instructions

After washing:

• Gently remove excess water

• Do not twist or tightly wring the shirt

• Reshape the collar, cuffs and placket

• Hang the shirt on a suitable hanger

• Dry in shade

• Allow the garment to dry naturally

Avoid prolonged exposure to strong sunlight, as it may cause fading or affect the fabric finish.

Do not tumble dry unless specifically permitted on the garment care label.

Ironing Instructions

Iron the shirt while it is slightly damp or use light steam for better results.

• Use low to medium heat

• Turn the shirt inside out

• Iron the collar, cuffs, sleeves and body gently

• Place a clean cotton cloth over delicate areas

• Iron embroidery from the reverse side

• Keep the iron away from rhinestones and decorative work

Do not hold the iron in one position for too long.

Stain Removal

Treat stains as soon as possible.

• Blot the stain gently with a clean cloth

• Use cold water and mild detergent

• Test any cleaning product on a hidden area first

• Avoid aggressive rubbing

• Do not use bleach on coloured or detailed shirts

For difficult stains or delicate garments, professional cleaning is recommended.

Dry Cleaning

Dry cleaning may be suitable for heavily embroidered, rhinestone-detailed or delicate shirts.

Inform the dry cleaner about all decorative elements before cleaning. Renims is not responsible for damage caused by unsuitable cleaning methods or chemicals used by third-party cleaning services.

Storage

To maintain the shirt’s shape and finish:

• Store it clean and completely dry

• Use a broad, smooth hanger

• Keep it in a cool and dry place

• Avoid overcrowding the wardrobe

• Keep detailed shirts away from rough garments

• Do not place heavy items over embroidery or rhinestones

• Use a breathable garment cover for long-term storage

Avoid storing garments in damp or humid conditions.

Colour Care

Dark and rich colours may release a small amount of colour during the first few washes.

To reduce colour transfer:

• Wash separately for the first few washes

• Use cold water

• Use a mild detergent

• Do not soak for long periods

• Dry away from harsh direct sunlight

Slight colour variation over time is a natural result of regular washing and wear.

Important Care Information

Improper washing, excessive heat, bleach, strong chemicals, rough handling or failure to follow the care label may damage the fabric or detailing.

Damage caused by washing, ironing, alteration, misuse or normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect.
